motorcycle travel to this area.

Less than three miles outside of "The Gat" are some of the best backroads in the Appalachian Mountains. We can take you and yours on a local backroad tour down roads that range from "Cow paths" to "Twisties" you can't find even on the infamous "Dragon"! This area has everything from Hillbilly Homesteads to vast farm land and even a mansion or two. Our local road tour will let you see it all and hone your riding skills at the same time. With us you decide How long, how far, how many stops, what attractions, events, shopping, or anything else, From food to band's it's up to you! Tell us your dreams and we make them come true!! |

Our most visited road "The Dragon" AKA Deals Gap or hwy 129 is One of the rides that motorcyclist dream of! And from the Inn getting there is just as fun! Into the park by way of hwy 441 up river road and over the greenbrier to the DRAGONS HOUSE WE GO!!! With hard left on hwy 321 and over the foothill parkway to the mouth of the dragon. With a twist of the throttle and the heart of a slayer, we charge our rival with a vigorous thrust of power from our sturdy steed and gallantly cross into his lair to do battle. When the battle is won we have to chouse to befriend the cherohalo or the Cherokee. Hwy 165 AKA the "Cherohalo Skyway". Has Excellent conditions; for fast sweeping and predictable curves! And is all about the ride and the path of hwy 28 is sweeping fun with hidden attractions. (A longer stay can remedy this dilemma)
Hwy 441 over the Blue Ridge into Maggie Valley with a stop at wheels through time the best collection of cars and motorcycles in the US and they all RUN! You will want to come back for more because you just can't see it all in one trip! Then over the mountain by way of hwy 209 into hot springs NC and the smooth curves of hwy 25/70 and 321 back to the Gat will get your heart pumping!
Don't even ask what roads this one takes, because we ain't sure we knows them all, or even if they all got's names. But they's the best is backroads you's gonna find any where's SO YA;ALL GET'ER Tu'THa INN AND LET'S RIDE!! |
