We will be leaving from the Rivers Edge parking lot at 10:30 am on Saturday 15th and Traveling the New Found Gap road over the mountain To Cherokee. A short stop for shopping the leather shop, ice cream bar and souvenir shops and then We pig- out on the Food of the Hills at the Hungry Bear Restaurant. After lunch we Mount and ride the Soco Gap into Maggie for a stop at the Wheels Through Time Transportation Museum (The best collection for motorcycles this side of the planet) After that you have several choices for the ride home depending on the time you wish in the saddle. NOTICE: All routes are suggested ONLY and are part of the public highway system. By traveling such Highway or roads (weather alone or in a group) you acknowledge the inherent risks. By attending, you accept all risk incurred and shall hold BLAMELESS myself for providing this information and any and all persons, clubs, organizations, and vendors who may choose to attend or otherwise support this gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts. We have four annual rides that are open to anyone that wants to attend: The spring through time run. May 21st and 22nd 2004 This ride takes you from the inn on local back roads and down along the pigeon river to hot springs North Carolina over the great twisties of highway 209 down into Maggie valley where we will stop to visit the incredible Wheels Trough Time museum and a lunch break then back over the mountain by way of the blue ridge parkway and highway 441 into the Gat. The Honda Hoot Week June 20th to 25th 2004 this one is filled with daily rides and visits to the hoot festivities as well as open to suggestions and desires we will have scheduled rides to the dragon, local back roads, some falls, wheels trough time, bike shops events like a bike wash, shopping and more! July 16th and 17th 2004 the local back road tour that takes you to see how the modern day hillbilly lives and along the way we will eat at a mom and paw eatery stop at the caverns under the Smokies and see some of the best views anywhere. September 23rd to 25th 2004 The Dragon run a ride over the famous highway 129 at Deals Gap 318 curves in 11 miles!! You won't want to miss this it is one of the best roads in the country and the going and coming isn't bad either. We stop at wheelers bike shop and the Crossroads of time and if the group wants to take the time make a quick stop at the Fontana dam. All rides are as we said FREE the only thing that cost you is food gas and entry fees to attractions. We will of course make the breakfast at the Inn before we run, don't miss it!
