The route is a mix of twisty paved roads, rough gravel roads, mountain climbing dirt/rocky surfaces, and smooth well-maintained gravel roads. Then you run through Joyce Kilmer to two of the best warm-up twisty roads you’ll find before the Dragon, Yellow Creek and Old Field Gap roads.
