Lincoln Memorial University Museum

Harrogate, Tennessee

This ride will take you North to the Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, through the tunnel into Middlesboro, Ky and up to the Pinnacle Overlook in Cumberland Gap National Park. On the way back, you will ride over the mountain on a road that has some active coal mining. If there is a hint of rain, find a different route, since the coal dust and water make a very greasy surface. If it is dry this is a must road for the view and turns. Then you will go through Clinton and backtrack on some of the roads you took on the way out. There are always some little twists. We hope you enjoy a full day of riding and learning.

1 through Louisville, across Milton Hill Reservoir 2 times, though Heiskell, through Andersonville, along the edge of Big Ridge State Park, across the new Hwy 33 bridge over Norris Lake, and a recycle & tank top-off stop at the BP in New Tazewell.
